Black Tourmaline Black Tourmaline is one of the most intense and stones to be found on the earth today. It is naturally striated. The gem quality we use comes from Brazil. It is a rich black color. Black Tourmaline is only one of the colors that Tourmaline comes in. It exists in all colors. It is a very popular gemstone not only for collectors but also for jewelry making. When Jeff and I began in business 20 years ago black tourmaline was very abundant in gem quality. Not so today. Today we search and hand pick each stone for it's gem quality. Tourmaline in all colors is considered a prized specimen for collectors. To have a pendant of Black Tourmaline is unusual to say the least. The gem quality Tourmalines are found in Madagascar, Russia, and Brazil. |
