When in search for Rhodochrosite we are always looking for gem quality with a good solid matrix to be able to cut and shape. We use diamond saws and diamond wheels to accomplish this.

Gem Quality over the last number of years has been hard to locate. Whereas poorer quality is more readily available. We have also located great quality red rhodochrosite from Africa, Argentina, and Romania.

There are very few Red stones in the world. We have been well blessed to wonder at the site of these specimens and then to be able to design them into a beautiful one of a kind pendant.
