Crystallized Azurite is a light blue stone to a very dark blue stone.
It usually forms in small crystals. Many times the crystal are striated. Azurite owes it's name to it's azure blue color.
It is usually found with Malachite. These two minerals sometimes band together forming Azurite/Malachite.
This is a very popular stone with collectors and highly in demand.
We have found outstanding specimens from Namibia, the Congo, and South Africa.
