Amber

Amber is fossilized tree sap. It is a beautiful lightweight stone that is cut and polished and used as a valuable gemstone. It is amber yellow to orange in color and it is millions of years old.

It is considered a semi-precious gemstone. Fossilized tree sap(Amber) may have encased small insects or invaluable plant remains. The odd fossils of insects and plant life that can be found in amber usually add to ambers unique look and can greatly increase it's value.

The Amber we cut and shape comes from the Baltic Sea. Other areas are the Baltic countries of Russia, Romania, Venezuela, Burma, and Wyoming the United States.
